FUNCHAL storming the North Atlantic

The last survivor of the once proud Portuguese passenger liners fleet, the cruise ship FUNCHAL was photograped in the Eastern Atlantic off the Portuguese coast on her return from Australia on 9th April.
The jewel in the fleet of Classic International Cruises, her timeless design and beauty make her a unique ship.
Since October 1961 she has sailed this sea countless times. When new, with black hull and yellow funnel, she was spotless and the best way to cross to the Atlantic Islands, calling at Funchal and Tenerife twice a month and then doing another monthly voyage to Madeira, and the main Azores ports of St. Michael's, Terceira and Fayal. She has been a full time cruise ship since May 1976.

Pois é Cap Créus, o FUNCHAL mantém a sua elegância de belo paquete dos anos sessenta, e continua a navegar passados 47 anos...
